Drumroll Please

And the winner is….Very Peri!  Yes, the moment you have been waiting for (well, if you’re a design geek like me that is), Pantone has announced their color of the year and it’s bold and fun and sporting super Spring vibes.  And apparently this is the first time that Pantone made a brand new color for their color of the year vs. using an existing color.

Pantone describes “Very Peri” as a blue hue infused with red-violet undertones.  “Very Peri displays a spritely, joyous attitude and dynamic presence that encourages courageous creativity and imaginative expression.”

I think it might be fitting after the lack of exploration and experiences that we’ve had to endure over the last (gulp) almost 2 years to have Pantone pick such a bold color for 2022. But I’m all for it!  As a real estate agent, I might suggest that we not go paint our entire home this color or all the walls in site, but a fun splash here, or a highlight there…you bet!
